About Your Spa Visit
Get the most from your visit to Spa at The Grand with our handy spa guide.
To schedule an appointment for a treatment please contact our Spa Team on 01904 380 050, who will help you choose your perfect treatment. To ensure your preferred time and service is available we recommend you book in advance.
To make the most of your visit we suggest you bring swimwear and rubber-soled flip-flops or slippers to enjoy our spa facilities. If you would like to make use of the gym facilities during your visit please bring appropriate fitness attire, including gym shoes. Spa guests will be provided with towels, robes and slippers.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 25 minutes prior to your spa experience. This will allow you time to check-in, fill out the necessary paperwork, change into your spa wear and familiarise yourself with the facilities and your therapist.
If you arrive less than 30 minutes late, your treatment may be reduced, but you will still be charged at the full price. If you are more than 30 minutes late, your treatment may not be honoured to ensure that other guests are not inconvenienced but will still be charged at the full price.
The Spa at the Grand provides lockers to ensure all personal belongings are kept safe. However, we do not accept any liability for the loss or theft of any personal items and we suggest you leave items of value at home.
In order to promote an environment of relaxation and tranquillity and to respect guests’ privacy, the spa is a mobile phone, tablet, pager, camera and smoke free zone.
Are there any tips for before, during and after treatments?
We recommend that you consume plenty of water before, during and after your treatment and make use of the pool facilities to keep your body fully hydrated. A spa experience can take a lot out of you!
Allow 12 hours after any heat treatment before waxing and 72 hours after any cosmetic surgery procedures including botox or light peeling treatments.
To continue your spa experience, your therapist will give you any specific advice following your treatment to allow you to carry on the good work back at home. Most products used in our treatments are available at the Spa reception.
