TO ENSURE A SMOOTH STAY

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES

Check-in is from 3pm, should you arrive earlier our Concierge team will be happy to store your luggage for you. Every accommodation will be made to welcome guests as soon as possible, however early check-in is subject to availability. Guests are welcome to dine, use the facilities or explore York in the meantime.

Your room must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure. A late check-out is available upon request, subject to availability on the day, which is charged at £30.00 per hour, late check out can also be requested at the time of booking.

A £50 charge will be requested per day as a security deposit. This will be used towards incidentals during your stay and any additional items charged to the room, such as food and beverage. If your deposit is not used, it will be returned to you in full. This takes 3–5 working days following check-out.

Please note that we do not offer EV charging facilities, either on-site or off-site. If you require access to an EV charging station, our concierge team will be happy to recommend nearby public options.

Be personally greeted at York Station by our uniformed concierge, who will assist you with your luggage using our signature gold trolleys. Enjoy a relaxed walk as you’re guided through the historic city walls directly to The Grand. Upon departure, we’ll escort you back to the station to ensure a smooth farewell.
